I absolutely love this car and appreciate this one much more than a 2023 one…because I just can’t imagine a BMW without a gear selector !!! 😳 replacing that beautiful classy gear selector by an insignificant button in an M240i is just criminal 😡

For me it's not the looks - it's the steering. If I am buying this car, it's most likely for fun almost-daily use. So, things like inputs and feedback are important. Even with that possible issue, the rest of the M240i is pretty darn compelling. The power and the engine sound would be easy to enjoy in any situation, and I do really like the new interior design - modern and upscale while remaining purposeful. I've always been a Toyota and Lexus guy, but when my wife got a 330i M-Sport last year, I started to come around on new BMWs after living with it for almost a year now. That car is fantastic to drive, so I can only imagine what a coupe-ified version with that sweet six cylinder would be like.

You can argue all about bmw‘s controversial styling and their cars becoming heavier and more tech oriented… but there is no doubt they are annoyingly amazing at engine/transmission tuning. Prob overall one of the best in the industry

For someone who's never owned a luxury car, closest I got was an is350, when I saw and sat in this car I could feel how different it felt over mainstream vehicles. Same as I felt when I put on a luxury watch, coming from wearing seikos and Citizens. Love it. And I think I'm going to save up for 3-4 more months and order one in the summer. Hopefully I'll get it by next winter.

This video convinced me to pull the trigger on one of these. 2024. I wanted a Supra 3.0 Premium but Toyota was no where near as easy to work with as BMW was. I have my production allocation and should have my car in a few weeks! I can't wait!

You don’t have to press buttons to access sport+. You just hold the down shift paddle and it automatically switches mode, selects the lowest gear and you’re off. It’s even better than launch control in that it’s really useful on a daily basis.

Had a °07 120d with around 149k miles and it was solid as ever. No rattles, no weird sounds. Even tho it didnt have much technology, duuh, it drove amazingly, 35mpg, no complains
