Kathleenlights was also my gateway into fragrance youtube. I have been a fragrance collector for most of my life, but had no idea there was a whole online community. Through one of her earlier fragrance collection videos I learned about online discounters and binge watched other fragrance collection videos. I had always paid retail (depaertment stores and Sephora) for fragrances and learning about discounters was a game changer for me. Because the prices were so cheap at the time (5+ years ago), I started dabbling in blind buying. My modest collection of about 20 fragrances (including cheapies) grew to hundreds.

Exclamation was the first fragrance I bought for myself when I was 13 years old...the year it came out. Before that all my fragrances were gifts and handme downs. But at 12, i started babysitting some of the neighbour kids and had a little bit of my own money.
