Fantastic to hear all this buddy, thank you for sharing.
Cool water was my first proper frag when i was 16 in 1997,
i wore it for 3 years straight all through college, i must of got through ten 75ml bottles at least. Then i moved onto boss bottled in my early 20's and polo blue.
I must of got into watching the youtube frag reviewers about 8 years ago now when it was just Tim and cubby, i remember wanting to get a new frag but didn't know what to get so i started looking on youtube haha. I loved Tim's video's, he had a real chilled out but pro style.

Steller journey, really enjoyed it. You need to dress up in some Motley Crew era gear and do an eighties powerhouse special! :)

Really enjoyed this Ryan! Great to hear your story and awesome that you still respect Jovan Musk even with all those niche fragrances.

This maybe the best frag video I've ever seen.

We must be close in age as I have some of the same fragrance memories as you do. I also gassed my classmates with the original Polo - hahaha. Great vid - sharp suit!

It's always interesting hearing the stories of how we all got into the fragrance game. Thanks for sharing, Ryan! I didn't have a signature scent until my early 20s. My two signature scents were Burberry Men and Emporio Armani Lui. I still have a bottle of each in my collection, though I haven't rocked either in quite some time.

I still love Old Spice, I use the deodorant because it doesn't contain aluminum. adore carnation so it's always been a good one to me.
Stetson, I always found quite nice.

My grandfather wore Aqua Velva original, blue bottle ... LOVED that one!
&
My dad was a High School English Literature teacher who had a closet full of scents given to him by his students as gifts. got to know & enjoy a lot of classics that way.

Jovan Musk for men and women, both, *still* reside in my home. :)
The men's on my husband's dresser and I own the Oil and the Cologne.
It was considered sexy back in my teenage days ... still enjoy it but Coty's Musk Oil for the Win! ;)

Nice Video ~ Thanks for sharing.

Great video. Those old aftershaves will always reignite memories. I bought Aqua Velva recently, my grammar school fragrance. I also picked up some Old Spice and Mennon Skin Bracer. Unfortunately, all those aftershaves have been reformulated a bunch of times and now are in cheap plastic bottles. My college fragrance in the early 70s was Aramis. Thanks for stirring some old memories for all of us. I am into traditional wet shaving with a double edge razor and use that old stuff every morning. Then I go to the more recent fragrances.

Great video. Really loved the fragrance memory stories, especially the ones linked to your father. The Old Spice aftershave and pretending to shave with your dad brings back good memories of my father! All the best, Matt.
