No.1 is so important and 'telling' fans what to do is simple, but overlooked. Thanks, Tony! Good stuff.

This is true marketing is necessary. So, if there is no budget there are other things to do. When a budget comes back, due COVID-19, save save save.

Tony, I so appreciate your knowledge of the industry and wisdom you are sharing with us from your years in the biz.
You have helped me (and my producer) realize its time to invest in the marketing-promo BEFORE we even release any previews of our
show content (my original music, stories, historical graphix, and custom AV-content). Thank you! dr

Thank you for telling me to ask them to follow me on Spotify. I have an email list and I never done that.

Both sessions make we want to borrow a time machine to go back to last Spring before we launched my album in the Summer, we would do different. Thank-you for sharing your concise, succinct strategies that make perfect sense. I used to train Science teachers and would say you are a natural teacher. Keep up the good work.

Great video, but I really want to know your opinion regarding "free organic social media posts", because the video has sound problems after 4:39 and as I do mostly this kind of posts I am highly interested in you words.

Is anyone else having the audio drop out at 4:39 to 4:41? It's killing me not knowing what Tony says there! lol Anyway, all good points. I'd love to see videos addressing the solutions to each point in more detail, particularly #5, the conversion plan. I have one, but it is definitely not working well, lol.

Views, streams, and followers are great, but without a sustainable source of revenue it’s all for naught! There are people out there that will want to support you!

Regarding #5 -the conversion plan. You name a lot of goals but not a lot of solutions to these very difficult problems. How do you turn somebody into a casual or accidental listener to somebody who follows you closely and shows up at your concerts? At the end of the section you say something about show.go but I can't find anything about that. Please elaborate if possible and thank you for your videos.

Thanks Tony. Great list. Pertaining to #2, I understand that you have to invest in advertising but I don't know how to determine the best places to put my money. Can you do a video specifically about advertising for independent musicians? Thanks!

This is all so unrealistic and disingenuous. This is all what the record label used to do. The music suffers because of all this. This is why music today is so awful and forgettable, . The Beatles did none of this. He who is in the tower pointing his finger "go that way!" Please dude, just stop. You sound so disconnected from reality. No one under 35 even knows what a real audience is on a Tuesday night. They believe whatever they're told. You have to meet and greet there is no other way
