It is definatelly on Stieg Larssons level and Jo Nesbo is a great writer! And people- it's definatelly worth spending your money ... For all his books!

He is infact named Hole but he explains that people dont know how to pronounce his name so when andrew calls him “Holy” he decides to stick with it in Australia. (In norway he doesnt have that problem obviously)

I got a book The leopard but at that time i didn't know that this book is a part of a series. So can i still read the leopard without reading the previous books?

Haha! He is from Norway, where I am from! He is HUGE over here, been for many years! But I've never read anything by him yet...

It gets much better. The snowman and the leopard are simply a fantastic read.

He's from Norway as I know of. I haven't yet read The Bat or what it's called in Swedish! He is very popular in Scandinavia but I agree with you that he shouldn't be compared with Stieg Larsson! Take care and love from Olskroken Gothenburg Sweden!

I've heard that the series gets better and better! I didn't love this one either but I think I'll try a couple more since I hear good things about the later books!

I threw the third book away after 150 pages of crap... It was that bad
