Really good point about the focus of the Pinarello road ethos vs. the comfort/hybrid focus of the Orbea. The stealthy combination of the Mahle hub drive and the looks of the Pinarello will be quite appealing, but from experience it’s a matter of time before the rider gets fit enough to realise the motor is not needed to cruise around at ~28kmh average speeds which is out of the limits of the motor to begin with.

Thanks for the comparison between the two bikes. I was debating between them and the wilier cento1 hybrid.

I have the m20 ultegra Gain which was only £2600 new great bike but compared to my Pinarello Paris it’s a different animal you can ride the gain 120 km without feeling uncomfortable but the Paris starts to get tiresome after 85km it might be the stiffer frame or the geometry but on price alone the pinarello is too expensive

I like the Orbea Gain. Too bad it's (presently) not available in Canada (as of January 10, 2019).

The sole difference I see between both models is the torque, 40 nm for Obea and 60 Nm for Pinarello.

How can the stack be the same, but the head tube length different? (between dyodo and prince)

You keep trying to convince yourself the Pinarello is worth more lol.

Bullshit. Just a guy trying to sell a more expensive bike. Not worth the $3k price difference at all.

Why don't you talk about the tiny puny little motor and silly silly small battery, £xxxx pah!
Fit a tongsheng tsdz2 48v500w 80nm torque sensing mid drive to your existing bike.
About £550 with big battery.
