That's a pretty good question, Thanatos would definitely win because he created a concept and is a primordial too.
But on the other hand Zeus's fear exists, it took over Zeus and is pretty much unbeatable unless you opened the pandoras box, pretty much thanatos will win.

I think this goes to Zeus. You have to keep in mind that Gods, Titans and Primordials are in the same tier of power. That was confirmed by the creators of the game because they had to replace each other.

The Titans replaced the Primordials. The Gods eventually replaced the Titans.

Remember people, Kratos was still the god of war when he and Deimos faced Thanatos. And Kratos had to use his full power of Thera's bane and his rage to overpower Thanatos.

But Zeus was basically cake walk for Kratos if not for Athena's sacrifice or Gaia betraying Kratos in the beginning.

No shot Zeus had less endurance than Thanatos (literally survives being stabbed by Blade of Olympus on multiple occasions and when his physical body "dies" he is still not dead with his "Fear Zeus" form).

One went toe to toe with by far the strongest version of Greek Kratos with far superior weaponry physical stats and power, only being put down with the use of the Blade of Olympus (the most powerful physical weapon/tool in the saga) before coming back to life and one shotting that Kratos. The other...killed a mortal in Deimos and got murked by an enraged Kratos who was far inferior to Peak Greek Kratos and had much worse weaponry. Tough one...

If people are saying that thanatos>Zeus then they also mean that kratos(Ghost of Sparta)>kratos (Gow 3)which doesn't make any sense.Becauae kratos was at his peak at the time when he fought Zeus and would have lost if not for power of hope.

I think Thanatos takes it Extreme Diff. He makes up for shown feats with statements from other and himself. Plus the gifs were so scarred of him that they made a whole nother dimension to keep him away… idk it’s really close.
