There is one exception to this rule that I think should be considered. That being the Scottish kilt. It is not a dress per se though it is a skirt. but it most definitely is masculine

It’s not masculine for men to wear dresses. But, that’s not a bad thing, the fact that a man can be comfortable with his masculinity and sexuality to the extent that he can wear a dress, is an amazing thing. Men can be masculine or feminine just as women can do the same. :)

Go back 50 years and ask men if they'd date a woman wearing pants. Fashion is fluid. Clothes don't increase or decrease masculinity. U decide how ur clothes make u feel.
