2024 Kia Sonet First Impressions | AutoDeal Walkaround

Shall we compare this to a summer's day? Kidding. You're looking at the 2024 Kia Sonet, a small crossover from the South Korean brand that is looking to give its segment rivals a run for their money, for not that much money actually. Starting at under P1,000,000, this model is the new value king in the Kia lineup for the Phililppines. Here are our first impressions of it on this AutoDeal Walkaround.

Hopefully Kia will continue this trend of making affordable but feature-packed cars. Their previous line-up felt too overpriced compared to the competition. This will probably sell really well.

Was deciding between Yaris Cross V versus Sonet SX. Decided to go with Kia and will spend the extra 100+k of my budget to pimp up the Sonet more with ceramic coating etc. I also compared both on actual test and interior feel, ang layu ng Yaris. Solid si Sonet. Just sharing.

One fact where it eclipses the Raize is it has a 1.5 engine and for me it looks a little better.

Durog ang Raize dito. One thing about KIA sobrang tibay nya very smooth and comfortable, I had a 2014 Sportage I liked it so much.

Kia should've omitted the sunroof instead of the side & curtain airbags.

Oh inline 4! And a lot of features. Definitely better than the Raize that I bought a yr ago. 😅
Ang pogi din ng Exterior, not a fan of sunroof though.

Between this and the top of the line raize this is better, ADAS, 2nd row air vents, sunroof and a much more powerful engine. The downsideis, its much more expensive than the raize turbo.

Autodeal have the best video quality as far as Philippine Car review is concern. Having said that, this guy’s attempt to humor is often over the top. Perhaps dial it down a notch? And perhaps make the video longer while focusing more on the standard features of the cars? Very often, specs are mentioned but is not really presented in a real world application.
