Great video! I like to wrap a black or red piece of tape on that neutral which is now a hot leg of the 220.

1. How is pressure tank size determined?
2. You also forgot to mention the pre filling with air and how much air goes in the pressure tank?

I’ve always installed a check valve before the tank. To keep the water from the pressure tank from flowing back down the well it’s a vital component to keep the pump from over working and to keep the pump from causing water hammer effect, you may have installed one closer to the well head I’m not sure but I noticed it wasn’t installed at the pressure tank it’s code here to have it just before the pressure switch.

Very thorough video. Everything clearly explained, nothing skipped. I would add that if you don't understand the electrical terminology get someone knowledgeable to help. I would also put some black tape over the white wires as they are both hot leads. Great job!

Thank you for the video! I've changed the pressure switch and understand the workings of the tank, but my biggest issue was how to get that hard plastic pipe onto the barbed fittings (the professional way).
