They Tell Us That Hell Isn’t Real

Behind all of these various claims from this progressive Christian is the idea that you can reinvent Christianity however you like with no accountability to a consistent view of Scripture or Jesus. In today's case there seems to be a very odd reference (seemingly out of context or just made up) to a former pope in the place of quoting scripture.

Hey Mike, love the detail with which you approach Biblical answers to topics and questions you are asked.
I would love to see an in-depth video on what the Bible and more specifically Jesus teaches on Hell. I have biblically literate friends who don’t believe that hell isn’t a reality experienced by anyone today (post cross). Sounds like universalist ideas. You talk about the linguistic meanings of hell (that Jesus used?) and would love to learn more about the full teaching!

I would really be interested in watching a discussion with both of you on how you would present the concept of hell to someone who A) Believes but struggles with idea of a physical place such as this and then also B) Someone who refuses to believe because an idea of hell would be unacceptable!

I like the fact everything is backed up with scripture. It’s just sad when others try and twist scripture to get out of stuff. To get out of doing right. It’s frustrating when people want to argue you, when the Word of God is so clear.
