Thank you Eric, these are excellent lessons on the driver. I tried them out this afternoon, gained at least 20 yards at the range and the ball flight and direction looked so good. Will continue to work on your lessons to improve. Thanks again !

I've been playing golf about once every 3-4 months for the last 10 years. I recently started playing twice a week. I took 1 minute to line up to the ball in my garage and immediately noticed the "wrong" methods that I have embedded in my approach and swing. Thanks a ton! I'm sure I will be able to apply what I've learned.

Went to range last night with these 5 mistakes in mind and it helped launch my ball higher, a lot higher. I'm fading it now, which I'll take considering I'm a terrible hooker. Keep doing these videos. I really appreciate it.

I tried a ton of videos on here. After 20 years, this fixed my slice in 1 day. No lie.

Eric, what would have helped me was a slo mo of each of the swings - especially the good ones! - you are so quick! Thanks for a great video!

I like the feel of my head moving "backwards" coming down; it's really pretty stable, but the feel gives a great sense of swinging against the heavy anchor of a stable head. Great video; there are more than enough videos of people with great swings explaining their great swing, and not nearly enough helping to guide the mistake-ridden dedicated hacker to correcting their mistakes.

Your one of the best online golf coaches out there....I watch all your videos and they are great and improved my game....I know you always recommend to video the swing to measure results....what affordable app or swing analyzer would you recommend purchasing that’s affordable for the average golfer....I have looked at a lot of them and like the zap golf 2 system....it would be great if you did a video on the more afforble ones...I know you use the live video but that is expensive....

Best video ever for highlighting my mistakes. My ball can start out straight & then goes right with an outside in, too steep angle of attack. The worst is when it lands and spins wildly to the right costing me yardage. Last year I was also leaning more left(ouch!). No wonder I had such a hard time with driving last year. My drives used to be far better, and I don't know why I got the idea of leaning left!

Hey Eric, great driver lesson! Would you say tip number 3....the bad version is more of an iron swing?? I've been working so hard on my irons, trying to compress the ball, hold the lag etc....I can't hit driver anymore! So I think I'm basically swinging the driver like it's an iron and hitting down on the ball! Can't wait to try tip number 3! Thanks again

Fantastic! Five great tips/keys on how to improve driver distance. Love the contrast between Good Swing Eric and Bad Swing Eric to demonstrate the five driver tips/keys. Well done Eric and Steve!

Great vid again Eric, that last point you make is definately me. Feels like there is much more of a chance of pulling it left by keeping behind the ball.

Mistake number 1, at 3.00, putting your shadow over fellow players ball. I was thinking, Steve please move a bit so we can see the ball position, which is hidden by your shadow. Some great advice in this video I will try some of these tips, Thanks Eric, you are a great teacher,

This video just sums up my driver, always leaking to the right. Some good shots but mainly to the right. Thank you for the video and the tips.

Excellent tips Eric. I've been using a reversed k stance at set up, and while centering my head more above the ball, it seems to correct my swing path a bit more.. My ongoing problem is I have a tendency to tilt too far (including my head) at address.

Eric
I just started to watch your videos I love them
I have been having recent trouble with plane and ball striking I have found through your
Videos my errors

I am excited to go to the range and practice your drills and start to make solid swings and better club and ball contact.

Thank you

Ecellant video really points out the importance of the setup. As a senior I used a closed swing should I use the same setup? Do you have a video showing the 5 mistakes people use with an iron?

Hi Eric, I have really enjoyed your videos so far and find them very informative. I do have a couple of suggestions. This might require a video editor, but I think it would really help us amateurs to see the "right" and "wrong" ways of the swings if you could somehow do one or both of the following: 1) repeat the swing, but in slow motion, so we can better follow the club path and body movements; and 2) if you could incorporate some lines in both static and dynamic (motion) shots for reference purposes. Unlike a PGA instructor who sees hundreds, if not thousands of swings each and every day, I have trouble absorbing or taking all the information my eyes are transmitting to my brain and therefore need to watch things a dozen or more times to pick up all the details in the split second it takes to execute a swing.

I understand if there are issues preventing you from doing that (expensive equipment, hiring expertise, etc.) but it would help you separate yourself from the seemingly hundreds of other pros who are now online.

Thanks!

That 5th one is one I struggle with. With ball do far forward, tilting away from the ball AND being told I should be shifting weight to lead food at the start of the downswing, I tend to do exactly what's shown. If I don't shift weight, I lose balance.
