I love the fact that Ainz thinks of himself as average in terms of intelligence and because of that he has to be very careful when making decisions which actually makes him much more intelligent than he actually thinks he is.

Zanic was pretty much Thee king that the kingdom needed, he understood the bigger picture and (unlike his father) cared for the people as well as the soldiers at the time, he was also far more understanding in general as he took the time out of his day to Understand Ainz, hence why Ainz started to take a liking to him, its truely heart breaking that his own people killed him and robbed everyones chances of dying a peaceful painless death, Even with Zanacs head Ainz respected his body and asked that the head be returned and buried properly. this series is just so damn deep

I honestly love how Ains was able to BS his way into convincing even the most evil Nazarick denisens that building a utopia where all races can co-exist is the best course of action

While at the same time, allowing naturally good people like Sebas, Pestonya and Yuri Alpha a foothold in the politics of the Sorcerer's kingdom.

Man Shalltears plan was both comedic and somewhat cute cause she wanted to make an attack above and circumvate the defenses immediately but with some success.

I really got mad that they killed Zanac. He was calculating and cunning but he's doing his best to do for the best of the kingdom thay he didn't even have, yet he was willing to risk his life for it. I can't wait for the massacre.

Honestly this is one of the reasons i enjoy seeing MC as the (presumably, in the case of Ainz and someone like Kira from DN since i know many refuse to consider them one) antagonist. It helps bringing out the heroic aspect of other seemingly minor and stereotyped characters, like Zanac in this case.

I genuinely didn't pay much attention to him at first, thinking that he was just going to be that type of scheming second-prince stereotype all over again, but began to grow on him when the fate of the kingdom slowly tripped down to the point of unsavable as the series progress. My man literally carried the entire kingdom on his back while it was being destroyed from the inside by his sister and his father's ideology, only to then got betrayed by his own people at the very last minute.

What was interesting to me is the face expression of Sebas when Ainz accepted Nigredo's and Pestonias suggestion at the end.

i like that Ains recognises that he isn't as smart as everyone thinks he is and instead of it just being his character trope for ever and ever, he is actually trying to improve himself to meet those expectations. Character development :)
