I have some doubts..
(1)if current doesn't flow through open circuit then how can we say that it's a circuit because current is not flowing ??

(2) Why we take small piece of wire having low melting point in place of fuse wire and not long piece?

(3) If current is not flowing through the iron nail then how is it behaving as a magnet?

Only heating effect will be formed sir. We have switched off the supply of current hence no displacement or conduction current will be there the magnetic effect will not even last a second after it
