Much love for this video. You guys must get so many bizarre questions. My favorite is the "my reptile LOVES me" thing. I wish people could just learn to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of reptiles, how interesting they are, and how lucky we are that we can get them to a reasonably tame state without needing to believe they are dogs or something.

Great video guys. There was a movie in the '80s called Alligator in which a baby alligator is flushed down a toilet and survives by eating discarded laboratory rats injected with growth hormones, grows gigantic and goes on a rampage. It was Chicago though not New York, but maybe it inspired the myth.

I don’t recommend mealworms because they aren’t good for their digestion. They have high amounts of fibrous chitin. Not that other reason.

Lol i have a big purple and red tapestry on my wall behind my gecko tanks and my Flame crested gecko tries to climb on it everytime i open the tank, she also will stare at it and try to get to it no matter where in the room i have her. She literally wont look at a single wall except the tapestry wall. She also tries to jump to the tapestry every single time she can, its funny. None of my other geckos like my dalmation or harlequinn are interested in the tapestry in any kind of way at all. No clue why

I didn’t know that about chameleons but I keep seeing people say superworms can’t harm their gecko and I seen an article a while back where it did and I just can’t do superworms. They can bite pretty hard. Even if it’s a very small chance I don’t want to take it. I don’t mind mealworms tho.
