I lived mostly alone in a western U.S. wilderness for 9 1/2 years. It was something I had always dreamed of doing, I was still young, and it seemed a worthy challenge. I had virtually no money and only the bare minimum of material things, ( 2 rifles, a backpack, a change of clothes, decent boots, a hat and a small 2 man tent among a few other items. Many was the night and day I listened to the rain pattering on my tent. This takes me back to those days. Well done.

This is my favorite, by far, of all the tent/thunderstorm ambience videos. The thunder doesn't sound tinny and fabricated, it resonates like you are truly experiencing this in real time. The rain is just loud enough and torrential enough that it lulls you to relaxation and ultimately into deep sleep.

Def reminds me of when i was a kid. Laying in oir tents as kids. Listening to the rain and thunder. Falling asleep at night. I miss those days so mucb. Being a kid was awesome. When your a kid you always think i cant wait to grow up. But then i got older and realized i had it so easy as a kid. I miss it. ❤love your videos so much.
