What sweats don't understand:

1: Some people cant "get gud" if you guys are filling up casual lobbies just to get higher kills or to see "no earnings noobs" rage.
2:You are not good at the game if you need to build to the build limit just to kill 1 guy who missed you.
3:Arena is for competitive gameplay NOT solos, duos, trios and squads
4:You can't just be toxic and expect people not to say the community is bad that's just not how it works.
5:The name FORTnite has FORT! Forts are buildings you can settle in that have roofs and walls maybe even some windows to shoot out of (FORTS ARE NOT SPAMMING YOUR KEYBOARD TO GO TO HIGHT LIMIT)

If a tryhard is reading this remember: Stick to arena pal.

Sweats are so insecure that they play pubs instead of arena because they're scared of losing to people who are better than them

I miss the the old Fortnite it was so much better because

No sweats
No toxic players
No skill base matchmaking
No 90s

How I think Fortnite can be improved:

- Remove SBMM and forced cross-play. SBMM actually removes the sense of progression you get by improving at the game. Before SBMM, new players would start the game as the worst player in pretty much every lobby and slowly improved and worked their way up to the point where they were some of the best players in every lobby, making wins feel more rewarding and new players wouldn't win every second game because of SBMM and bots.

- Vault and unvault items more often. Wild Weeks are a perfect example and they shake up the playstyle every week.

- Rework building. The turbo building piece control meta has been around for far too long and has gotten stale. Keep it the old way in Arena.

- Get an influx of new players/returning players. Not sure how they'd do this, but an influx of casual players would definitely help the game feel more fun.

Toxic streamers like Clix are also a huge reason for the community's toxicity. They constantly insult players who they kill or are killed by. And a lot of the playerbase are kids who look up to these kinds of people as role models. It's on the big streamers for making the game so toxic and sweaty.

The worst type of sweats are the one who spam the laugh it up emote after killing you

Fortnite has always been sweaty af for me. I remember in the early days (Season 3-5) I heard someone say Oceania was one of the toughest servers to play on. Just my luck, I live in Oceania. I quit playing because every game was just drop, land, lose, repeat. It's just no fun when you have 1000 things to learn, so many skills and high reaction times to rely upon. You spend hours learning a skill, practicing it until you feel confident, and then bam, you lose again to a sweaty player. It's just not fun.

Bro its not even the sweats that piss me off, the game itself became so goddamn hard. Like I cant miss a shot otherwise Im back to the lobby. Im a true fn veteran for 4 years and counting, but the way this game is evolving, I wont be sticking to it much longer. Im so sad everyday knowing that the game that used to be part of me is worsening by the day, and I can't do anything about it. By far you are the only one who actually explained what it is like to experience this. Thanks bro, thought I was the only one goin crazy bout this shit.

Epic Games basically did a reverse Nintendo and endorsed the competitive scene of their game and look where the game is now, a fandom split between the people treating the game as a hobby and those who treat the game as their whole personality, granted the Smash fandom isnt that much better but at least most competitive players respect the casuals and each other

I love how sweats get mad in a match and say they hate the game and then continue playing it

Sorry but “Get Gud” doesn’t apply to me. I have a busy university semester and a bossy, hot GF so I can’t just play 12-14 hours a day. I want to play and compete but I don’t want to act like losing a public match will mean I die in real life

In my deepest thoughts I feel like they should add back skilled based matchmaking for every account because sweats make every game unfair

sweats definitely are ruining the game. I can think of one major fix that will keep this gaming going till the end of time. The A.I. players or the "bots" whatever you want to call them are the fix. I have proposed this idea to epic back when they use to have forums remember those days. But fortnite removed their forums because they were sick and tired of hearing peoples ideas. The fix is very simple they keep pubs and Arena but make a new mode that has the same properties as pubs but instead of your oppents being real people Every single enemy you come across will be a A.I. player the only real players that will be allowed in the matches will be your teammates if you so choose to invite friends to duos, trios or squads. This is their only ultimate fix. Plus if their game ever dies and a small group of people are still playing it the A.I. lobbies will still keep it breathing so to speak. Just think on it.

I agree it's just gone to crap no one can learn and the skill based matchmaking is not working correctly just puts me in the sweaty lobbies

The issue is, Epic expect people to improve by playing creative. If I am not wrong, creative has no affect on SBMM so a player will end up playing creative for ages and never playing public games. Eventually, they're good enough for public games and then they stomp the full lobby.

I feel the exact way about sweats! It’s nice to know that I’m not alone in this situation too.

Heres the problem.
Sweats are invading matches more and more, and I actually feel bad for any new player who wants to start this game for the first time. There are too many sweats, and you kinda have to BE a sweat just to live long enough to earn a victory. I've played almost 2000 rounds and I've only gotten like, 20 victories. Sure my skills have gone up but sweats just completely RUIN the fun. Absolutely ruin the whole game.

Trust if sweats didn't having building they be useless at game if was just ground to ground based you mostly took away their skill.

Arena was made for sweats, yet they stay in pubs because they're scared of better players
