Today I'm testing out the Selah flavored water bottle (pronounced "sella" per the company). I test and rank all 10 flavors and ponder how it might fare against the Cirkul.

They took the business model employed by printer makers and applied it to flavored water.

Been coming to this channel off and on for years and I think I keep coming back because he is just wholesome and genuine

The fact that you rated both the watermelon flavors the same and they turned out to be the exact same gives you credibility.

in the netherlands we have bottles of concentraded ''sirup'' that you add to your water, we have a brand that has no sugar or artificial sweeteners and 1 liter bottle costs about 3euro en that bottle lasts many refills. these bottle systems seems like the ''inkjet printer'' of concentrated sirup.

That thing looks like the bank's drive thru plastic pod that shoots up the tube back to the teller...😂 great video as always James 👍 Happy Saturday 🎉

I'm glad you mentioned mold I did notice mold growing inside the pod I had not drank out of the Cirkul in awhile and wondered what was going on inside. I'm good about washing the Cirkul but between the nozzle and flavor solution there was some stuff growing in there. So don't leave it out.

What i like about cirkul is control. Mio, you can control, but you can't just have plain water. it's whatever you sneeze. The Saleh bottle has a good concept with using 2 capsules instead of one, but just like mio, it squirts it in the water. Cirkul is the best, in my opinion.

Great video. I have no interest in flavored water but I watch every video you make. You are to the most complete reviews on YouTube

SO 12 servings per 5 dollar pod, 12 at one click, and most everyone will use 3 clicks, so 4 servings for 5 dollars, unless you use 2 of them, Too expensive.

The thing that makes the Selah make no sense to me is that it just squirts the flavoring into the water and flavors the whole amount of water in the bottle. Which means... why tf even have a fancy bottle and dispensing system and special pods...? There's no difference between this and if they just sold little squeeze bottles of their flavoring that you could squirt into any bottle or cup. It's just MiO etc but with a convoluted delivery system to get it into the water. Everything about this system is redundant and needless other than the flavoring liquid in the pods. The only thing that makes the Cirkul _slightly_ less needless is that you can freely adjust how much flavor you get at any point if you want I guess. I've also heard people say the Cirkul cap fits on other insulated bottles etc so there's that I guess. This Selah thing doesn't even have that one small advantage though, and is literally just selling a fancy bottle so that you have use their flavor ecosystem and their bottles that don't actually do anything. If those flavor pods were little squeeze bottles instead, this whole system literally becomes irrelevant, because all it does is squirt flavor into a bottle of water in an overly-complex way.

Just to illustrate what I'm trying to say: *He just poured all of the flavored water samples into cups to drink later because it is the same outside of the bottle...*
The bottle is entirely pointless after using it to squirt the flavor in. There's 0 reason for it to be in that bottle. If those pods were squeeze bottles MiO or packets like Crystal Light those cups of water would be exactly the same as they are after pouring them out of the Selah bottle. The bottle system _doesn't actually do anything._

I have only tried Cirkul and I love it! They have such wide variety of flavors!

Just got a cirkul and have been using it about a week. My favorite thing so far is that it only flavors the water as you drink. I had a long busy weekend watching a dance competition. Sometimes I wanted a little lemonade, and sometimes I wanted plain water. I loved having that option with one bottle.

My son and his family have the Cirkul and they love it. He said that the flavor is not injected into the water, but you taste the flavors when you take a drink. He said that he can refill the flavor section with those little Fuel squirt flavor drops bottles or any other brand even sugar free so he saves a lot on the flavor pods: this one looks good, but def more complicated to use and it doesn’t look like you can refill it with your own flavors.

This looks ok, I guess. However, my kid absolutely HAD to have a Cirkul (all his friends had one). The pods were on sale so we bought aton of them, fast forward 6 months and I have a great water bottle that I use to this day! 😂

I loved cirkul.
The reason I gave up on it (besides always finding out someone at work was throwing my bottle out because they thought it was just a water bottle) was the amount of cirkul pods I was buying that didn't work

I love cirkul for the fact I can use the cap on a Bubba and keep it colder for a lot longer.

In April it will have been a year that I’ve had my cirkul. I struggled to drink water. The flavor packets were not helping me except the rootbeer. I’m filling my bottle up several times over in a day. I can go through 3 pods a day. But I subscribe and for about 3.00 each. It’s better than code red mt dew! If the pods seem to empty out quickly I let the company know. They send. Me 1-2 free pods. Just looking at that bottle looks like it’s gonna break. If my bottle breaks I can buy a similar bottle the cap can fit on. Or just buy a cap! And use on the bottle you have. It’s going to take a lot to make me give up my cirkul. Thank you for being a honest, reviewer!!

Never heard of any of these products. I'll stick to plain water, thanks. Good video James.
Hope you're having a great weekend. 🤗🤗

Two things about the Selah: it's harder to toy with the level of flavoring. If you add too much, then you are stuck with that unless you dump it out or dilute it with more water. With the Cirkul, the dial is easier to adjust since it doesn't add the flavoring until you actually drink the water. If it's too strong, you can just dial it back down. Also, if you really wanted you, you can refill the cirkul pods on your own. You can separate the pieces, add in your own flavoring (I usually use those mio pods), and then put it back together. That saves you quite a bit of money in the long run. In the end, for me, it comes down to the variety of flavors and how well those flavors taste that decides which one comes out on top.
