R.I.P. Scott King, you are missed, and we are comforted by your musical legacy and extraordinary bass play and more. 🙏

Two things: (2) I discovered and fell for this band during COVID and have watched their videos probably hundreds of times in the last three years. Lots of talent for a Georgia cover band. (2) Most if not all of their pre-2020 videos are in public venues -- bars, festivals, etc. -- but their live performances measure up to this studio-quality song.

Their cover of "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" is the best cover song EVER! It is live on a stage at an outdoor bar/restaurant with people talking and TV's on behind them. Also "roadie' sound equipment. I'm a long time YouTube junkie and love this cover.

One of the best, if not the best, cover band on Youtube

No gimmicks. Just raw talent. Glad you discovered by favorite band. Watch more because they started singing live at 15. Harmonies have always been there.

Chase has one the best lower registers that you will ever hear. Her lead vocal on another Todd Rundgren classic "It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference" is also stellar. All of her lead vocals are spot on

This band is really an example of many styles of music done astoundingly well. F&F is a really awesome group.

They are so tight. Glad you’ve found F&F Beth. Check out their performances in the mall parking lot!

Warm is a perfect description of the feel she brings to the songs they cover… and I’m a big Todd Rundgren fan

I just love this group and can hardly wait each month or so for the next video to come out. They are excellent singers and musicians and Todd Rundgren has heard them do his songs and had nothing but praise for them. They do such a large range of styles and each of the three girls as well as Tim and Darwin get their chance to shine as lead vocalist. They started out recording their live performances about 10 years ago when there was no drummer and only one lead guitarist as well as only having two female singers. The make up of the band changed slightly over the years and then with all the girls gone off to college they stopped performing for a while. And then about 2 or 3 years ago all the members got back together and started recording in the studio. They haven't performed live in about 5 years but are planning a live performance for the end of the year. I'm so planning on being there. Hope to see you do more reactions to Foxes and Fossils, Beth. Love your channel.

Watching your expressions as you really enjoy what they are doing is almost as much fun as watching FnF.

This is one of my favorite pieces on YouTube. I revisit it often and am always overwhelmed by the power of their rendition of Todd Rundgren's song. The entire band is great but Chase soared in this one.

No one sings like Chase she is the Best, you can feel the Emotion she puts into her vocals.

Beth,
You are going to enjoy this so very much. This group's harmonies are tight and gentle. Their skill sets are off of the charts. The young lady singing, Chase saves some of the best for the end. Tim (black tee-shirt) has been in the music game for some time. Darwin has a rich low bass voice. Maggie Adams could sing a telephone book and make it sound good. Lastly Sammie adds her special twist. I think Todd would approve of this cover.

Foxes and Fossils cover several Todd Rundgren songs because Chase's voice is perfect for his tunes. This is my favorite cover group on the internet.

Actually, they all record individually but film together. Tim is able to balance them because of that. He has commented that he often has to reduce the volume on his daughter Sammie because her high pitched voice tends to sound louder than it really is. So he does do mixing but there is no auto tune here. If you watch their early live videos you will see they all have their own mic and were again recorded on their own tracks so Tim was able to do some mixing for the videos, which is why they generally sound as good as the stuff done in Tim's basement. Also, the group doesn't rehearse nearly as much as you might think. For the live performances they usually had one rehearsal at the beginning of summer and then did a few shows over the summer break recording one of them.

Thanks for the review. This group doesn't get nearly enough attention.
