Is this England's greatest Coastline? The Seven Sisters - Eastbourne to Seaford - Walk/Hike with me

Показать описание
The Seven Sisters are a series of chalk cliffs by the English Channel. They form part of the South Downs in East Sussex, between the towns of Seaford and Eastbourne in southern England. They are the remnants of dry valleys in the chalk South Downs, which are gradually being eroded by the sea. Join me on my journey where I take a day-trip from London and walk between the Victorian seaside town of Eastbourne and Medievil fishing town of Seaford. Maybe this tour will inspire you to go back or visit for the first time or in fact this tour will be enough to never need ever visit. This is the beauty of YouTube and joining me while I travel the world.

This is the best video I’ve found on the Seven Sisters walk. I’ve done this trail before, a few times, but many years ago. I’m taking my visiting family so want to make sure I’m familiar. This video is so helpful and funny! Thank you

Love from Ontario, Canada! We watched this video on our TV a month ago and are watching it again on desktop. We will be visiting this park in the first week of October this year to do this hike. This is the most informative vlog on the hike.

I went to Eastbourne back in 1984 and I liked the white chalk cliffs . It is more English rural country side and beach . In Australia it is Cliff, forest beach, Mountains, forest beach or desert and beach . Nice to see a different landscape . Thank you for your lovely video .

My best friend back in the 1960's was a wannabee geologist (later became a professional) and he introduced me to fossil hunting in those cliffs. We would find something interesting on every trip.

Just to let you know, we completed our hike successfully in the first week of October 2022. It was nothing short of epic. The weather was awesome! We did lots of photography. The best incident came when we watched an older lady early in on the trail, perhaps in her 70s, hiking from Seaford to Eastbourne in the company of her granddaughter, struggling her way up a hill as we cheered her on. When she reached the top, I said "you made it, it is going to be a nightmare for a person like me" and she responded, "a nightmare indeed, but a beautiful nightmare" 😀

So great. There's usually no reason to leave England, year round...

Raised in Eastbourne and moved away in 1970, to see the world. Just moved back. As a 69 year old, I can marginally lower that average age of 71 for Meads residents :).

Good video. My parents have a holiday home on the beach in Pevensey bay which is about 5 miles east of Eastbourne and there's lots to see there. Countryside and coast so best of both.

Wow I was just there on the 20th August. When did you go? I only trekked from Cuckmere Haven to the Birling Gap and back. Never been to Eastbourne. I drove directly by car to Cuckmere Haven.
