South Tyrol, Italy

South Tyrol is located in the Trentino-South Tyrol region of Italy. Italians also call it Alto Adige. Its capital is Bozen. Sixty-four percent of the population are Austrian-Bavarian or Tyrolean, with German as their mother tongue, and twenty-five percent speak Italian as their mother tongue.
