I enjoy any ancient find. What intrigues me most, no one ever considers artifacts having artistic value. It’s always something mysterious. Never a simple trinket.

I saw that one a couple of months ago. This one is (a detailed) copy. The real one is in the museum of archeology.

Uh, most every altar ever created in the history of mankind has been done with some religious or ceremonial purpose in mind. The whole purpose and function of an altar is to serve as a focal point for religious and spiritual ceremonies.
