'I'm not shocked': Nigel Farage reacts to shooting of 'friend' Donald Trump

UK Reform Leader Nigel Farage has said he's very upset but "not shocked" by the attack on his friend Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump was shot in the ear on Saturday (July 13) in an attempted assassination during a campaign event.

Speaking on the BBC's political talk show 'Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg', Farage added that Trump will carry on "regardless".

"The narrative that is put out there about Trump by these liberals that oppose him is, is so nasty, it's so unpleasant, that I think it almost encourages this type of behaviour," he said.

Farage, a close ally of Trump, also announced his plans to travel to the 2024 Republican National Convention this week.

Even though i do not like trump, there should be a proper investigation on what went wrong in the secret service and how they operate?

If what is said by some is true, that people were telling police they could see the shooter for minutes beforehand, and how was this thing able to play out, and what did the secret service do in these minutes, and why trump was still speaking there when there was this threat?

If these people did there job, they would of been someone alive today that is dead now, and others in hospital

So, what ever happened, the public should be told what went wrong

The people involved in these security teams surely all know, and there must be many many who are retired from these jobs who know what happens in these scenarios.
