No noisy lawnmower, no petroleum used, no carbon emissions. Wat, living a naturally “green” life. Taking care of Gods gifts: a place to live and a family to love and cherish.

I live in Hawaii and it’s not unusual for Asian people to trim grass this was. It very relaxing for them. He reminds me of my Dad. I love it.

Wat is the epitome of a humble man. A gentle spirit, knowing when to stay quiet and always respectful of others. A true family man. Lyla will learn as she grows how a young man should treat her..because of her daddy. Luke and Leon will learn from their daddy on how to treat their wives!

When I lived in Bangkok 33 yrs ago with my Thai husband in our rental house, I cut the grass the same way. We had a small yard, though. Brings back memories.

It's ok if he cuts the grass that way. He's a good man. He shows love for his family.

Actually looks therapeutic. I used to pick weeds by hand and trim the walkway by hand but I don't have a yard anymore

This is the tipically way grass is cutted in many asian countries. Also Bali and India.

One should respect that. Instead of simply transferring western thinking to eastern living.
That's rude and thoughtless. Encroaching and arrogant.

Wat has his own way of living and supporting his family.

I feel at peace watching him there. No noise, no exhaust fumes, just meditative lawn cutting.

Dedication to that what has to be done in this very moment. We all can learn from Wat to be in the moment.

And besides, it could be his very personal way...to indulge in his thoughts and to be one with himself and his world.

Wat- you have my utmost respect for devoting yourself to your life and loving your family.

Blessings from Bali.
