Took over the old family 06 matrix a few years back... she's coming up on 16 years now and still runs as great as ever. All original parts. Many childhood memories with this great car and she still gets me around to this day.

Got a new matrix this week. “New” as in 207k miles used. Leaking head gasket is the only problem it has, replacing it friday. Other than that it is a beautiful car, steering radius is insane, you can park anywhere, and it’s a nice cruiser and VERY zippy up to 40MPH, after that you need to give it 3-5 business days to reach highway speed

I drive a 94 Ciera, only 143, 000 mi. It was my Dad’s last car. He bought it off an elder church lady for 1500 way back when. It had a mere 37, 000 on it at that point. He gave it to me at 67, 000. Aside from an annoying intermittent electrical problem, that I solved in 2019, it’s been a super solid performer. Engine has had oil changed every 3K miles, as well as regular transmission oil and filter changes as well. Super solid daily driver. Aside from some paint fade, it’s rockin. Complete brake job last year for super solid stopping power. Tires are getting harder to find (at 14 inch). Daddy passed five years ago, this is memory to and of him. It’s my “Celica” car, Scotty.

This made me miss my 06 Matrix. On the sticker it was listed something like the toyota Matrix corolla. It was a great car. Had it from 05 to 2014 and only had to replace the alternator and had 114, 000 miles on it. Great video
