I'm surprised you went with the single mas. Much prefer my setup with the stage 2 Malone + stage 2 dsg tune. Car is a monster now.

Are you saying that I would lose 3-4mpg on a stage 1 tune even if I am light on the pedal?

Anyone over here in Alabama that can do a delete? Not too bad to drive over to Atlanta, just hate to leave my car. Great video! Beautiful Sportwagen. I can't say enough how much I love this car, the fuel economy and ride are superb. I think they have the GTI chassis on the Sportwagen.

Did you remove the egr completely? If so were did you get the part. I am in process of making a aluminum part to remove the egr completely. I removed the cooler and pluging the inlet hole on turbo from egr cooler.

Why did you switch to eco from stage 1? I'm looking to get a delete kit for my 14 passat, I have the auto trans tho

Great video I’m thinking of doing the same exact thing to my dsg version with just a 0.5 stage tune

Guessing you weren’t under warranty when the engine went.

Why you call the process "delete."

I’ve got a DPF delete kit with just the eco tune/pipe on the way from Jeff for my 2012 jsw tdi (base kit) since my DPF is clogged as hell. I’ve heard some anecdotal evidence that people get CEL with Jeff’s tunes. Have you had any problems like that to this day?

I have a 2011 that looks just like this that is a 2.0 TDI. Took it to a Euro Dealership and needs new turbo and EGR work done. It is an automatic though. I don't want to spend 5k to 10k to fix. What kit would you suggest as a cheap fix?

I loved the video by the way. Vehicle sounds great.

A great parts mover and way more fun to drive would be a 09-13 BMW x5 35D with a M57. If you ever get one let me know ill help you out with some good stuff :)

Stevenson I don't have good feelings about Stevenson anymore. He is up there on the reservation thinking he can do whatever he wants. And he thinks he is far enough away from anyone to ever have to deal with or see a customer in person when he does not deliver for them.

I came to him as a customer with a 2011 MK6 Jetta looking to do a delete for fuel economy and obviously DPF delete.

He wrote a tune and I passed my state inspection but fuel economy is equal to but certainly not better than stock.

To keep a long story short here, the very first few tunes he wrote me was giving me over 50 miles to the gallon City, high 50s Highway. That Tune however was giving me an overboost code, it took over 9 months and multiple versions of the tune for him to finally give up on improving fuel economy.

Then instead of Stevens him himself like a man, sent one of his dingbat underlings to tell me that I was getting poor fuel economy because it was cold (winter). Really then why do we have a cold air intake on our TDIs?
(Sure Sub-Zero temperatures are no good (but here in the Mid-Atlantic states in December at that time it wasn't colder than 40°))
If cold air is really that bad wouldn't we have a warm air intake instead of a cold air intake?

And another thing that dingbat underling tried telling me was that I never got over 50 miles to the gallon, he said that's impossible..
I sent him pictures and screenshots of receipts showing that I have empirical data proving I got well over 50 MPG and that shows me filling up just north of Baltimore and then not filling up again until south of Atlanta Stevenson tuning called me a liar.

So choose Stevenson tuning only if you're okay with just getting by and not expecting him to go the extra mile and figure out problems if you have any.

Basically if he does a tune for you he's only going to give you the bare minimum and give up instead of taking the time to get it dialed in and figured out.
