Normal sheets of drywall don’t have supports behind the horizontal seam. Why is it necessary here? Weaker joint? Just seems like a lot of random screws.

You could’ve cut that a half inch or an inch more over on both sides to reach both studs and you wouldn’t know how to put it in the board but of course if you’re learning from homes, then that explains why you did it backwards😂😂😂😂😂😂
