A Crispy & Creamy Baklava Cheesecake Recipe 🍰 This is a must-try recipe for cheesecake and baklava lovers☀️ This is truly a scrumptious combination!😍
Ingredients:
20 sheets phyllo dough
2 tablespoons sugar
110 grams melted butter
600 grams white cream cheese (unsalted)
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
Lemon zest
Lemon juice
Vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 pack cream
Honey
Pistachios
Steps:
Brush the cheesecake tin with butter.
Brush all phyllo sheets with butter & sugar and layer.
Transfer to cheesecake tin. cut out any bits that don’t fit.
Place parchement paper and blind bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees until lightly browned.
Bake the remaining bits in the oven until crispy.
Beat cream cheese with sugar and flour.
Add vanilla extract, lemon zest, lemon juice and whisk.
Whisk in eggs & cream.
Pour mixture over the base.
Add water in a tray.
Place the tin and bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for 1 hour.
Cool down gradually.
Garnish with crispy phyllo, honey and pistachios.
