There is no replacement for displacement! The V8 is not only fun to drive but it is the most reliable powertrain out there.

I see comments on bad MPG in the V8. In Colorado on my 5.7L, I get 19.6mpg on highway, sometimes over 20mpg if I baby it and that's with 231k miles. Mixed driving I have been getting 18mpg still, use the cruise control. Folks need to learn how to move to where there's less oxygen ;).

Horrible gas mileage, sluggish performance, and overpriced are the older gens. Smart money will sell their expensive old one and get the new gen at huge discount while everyone panicks over the recall. Things will settle out. Watch. The new Tundra is better in EVERY way... and yes, including the TTV6 which is HERE TO STAY!!!
