I know that these are pretty useless but I think they're cool. Also the crafting tables can really be replaced with any solid and movable block, but I just use crafting tables to keep it simple.

1. Smallest instant hidden crafting table

Volume: 5x7x1, 35 blocks

Speed: instant (0.15s reset)

3. Smallest fastest pop-up hidden crafting table

Extension: instant (0.15s reset)
Retraction: 0.15 seconds, 0.2s seamless (0.1s reset)

Volume: 7x8x6, 336 blocks
Date of completion: 5.1.2022
Version: Minecraft Java edition, 1.16.4

those builds are unbelievable, you should make an explanation video because all those years of redstone and i still don't get it. i guess it's all happening in the same tick and you somehow get all of it in the correct update order, but i'm just guessing. watching it in action is always a big wtf
