So you're comparing how the company acted during The Great War, to the current situation? Doesn't quite seem like we're in the same situation. (The memo also reads "Remember each day out on account of sickness IS A DAY LOST TO SHIPBUILDING". Don't see the company highlighting that statment, even though they clearly still believe in the principal.)

Yes you right, it came from a farming town in Kansas & it spread wide when some young men left that small town to join the military for the upcoming ww1. It spread through our military first in their boot camp. I believe they said that one crossed over from pigs. There were so many dead bodies back then that family members were stacking bodies in alleys & the alleys were filling up. It got to the point that some families were dedicating a room in their house or apt for dead family members or they would move them to the corner of a room & put a sheet over them. Morgues & funeral places were overwhelmed so they couldn't remove the bodies. Could you imagine your dead family members in your house & knowing you will probably be next? Not to mention the smell in the neighborhood. I still don't believe in the social distancing, stay at home, face coverings & etc. It is a lot like mother nature. You can try to stop it but it will find a way to do what it wants to. You are just delaying it is all.

It’s weird seeing someone use a face mask and not using a jacket or hat or gloves IDK
