I deployed to Iraq 2003-04. I was shocked by seeing how women were treated as property (worse than animals). They are beaten for adultery, nearly killed. Openly. Right out in the street. In Iraq the dog/goat rides with the man in the cab of the truck and the woman rides out in the back. Women here think they have it bad. Grab a one way flight to Baghdad. Then they can have all the “toxic masculinity” they want. God forbid a man like a woman or want a relationship. No wonder men would rather be alone.

Im a conservative, I don't believe in "toxic masculinity", but I have known quite a few women who have been violated. Maybe it shouldn't be called "rape", that word implies a violent, brutal experience. S*x without permission is definately very prevalent. I have been "taken advantage of" 3 separate times, one was a "friend", and none of those times would not have defined it as "rape", at the time (late 80s early 90s), but are now defined as such. I do know that it's actually very few guys would do what those 3 men did. Concidering I have known hundreds of men, but only 3 men crossed the line. Besides, women can and do force sex too, and have not taken "no means no" seriously. Women have it wonderful here. I feel safe 90% of the time, and do not blame all men for the actions of 3 men in my life.
