They can give out this big tax credit, but people on ssi or ssd can not even get enough money to let them live at poverty levels. Most don't even file because they do not reach the limit that requires you

Of course I'm happy for the families. personally as a disabled older person I figured out a long time ago our turn will never come. I remember when I was younger I would hear about other countries that would not only respect elders but know they did have value and treat them accordingly. I don't know about other countries nowadays but other than individuals treating elderly the way they deserve, I never remember our country doing that in my lifetime. There's no point to vote anymore. All we get is lip service like we're so stupid as we grow older, we don't realize we're being left to struggle to survive and punished if we do.

I never hear good news for widows and elderly. I never received not one stimulus check, I live on widows benefits. Of 1, 800 per month. It rough.Immigrants get more out of the government then we do.

From all I have heard and learned about this, it does nothing to help the seniors on fixed incomes who desperately need help with inflation wiping us out. I can’t get excited or happy about anything being passed that does not help the seniors who need it most.🌷💐
