The FACT that you *must* have an at least legendary augment for a turret to even consider upgrading it is a massive L on Tanki's part..they made the normal turrets basically trash

I don’t really have protections upgraded but I’m also mainly a personal healer because I’m bad at playing offense. Instead I’ll follow a 9999 GS person around and will make sure they don’t die lol. I use support nanobots, m7-20 isida, and maxed booster drone, so I think I’ll just buy supplies. Maybe I’ll upgrade my thunder too since I got lucky and got the strict ammunition load augment for it.

i have no good augments, hyperspaced for railgun is so situational but ill still upgrade it its so satisfying hitting the penetration shots.

Just wait for the garage sales to be only 30%

I personally will upgrade these protections : freeze, Rico, hammer, railgun and scorpion
Basically because I hate being in 1v1 with freezes and scorpions are just too annoying
I know that magnums are everywhere but idk, I think that they are less of a threat for me, especially in 1v1
Btw, I got a question, I guess that you upgraded your protections before the prices went so high but how long did it take you to max out all the protections ?

You should do a video showing which turret is the best with each status effect augment. stun for rico for example seems underrated

I plan on finishing upgrading defender (it's 14/20 rn) and also upgrading a heavy hull to max. With this I'll have a maxed out hull in each health category. Lastly I'll probably put a few upgrades into the protections I'm using, mainly hammer and Thunder as I hate going against those turrets.

thanks man, this helped, im only the 4 diamonds rank rn, so I have 2 MK5-10 turrents, hammer and striker, and then viking mk5-10. should i spend crystals on upgrading my mk4s and some mk3s? or wait for big sales for those ones? and instead upgrade drone and protection?

Idc what your other 3 are but every battle and I mean every single battle you gotta have maxed out magnum prot. Since even on a small map like sandbox or Iran your gonna have some nerd going for kills. That is all. Cheers

Honestly, as a non buyer, I only have left titan MK8-12 to upgrade + armadillo, so if I manage to upgrade them all, I guess I'll be saving for upcoming turrets and hulls

i am going to get magnum protection maxed out, that all i can get, I also want to get advice from you choose, i have 31% protection from fire and 37% from hammer which way is better get that bot protection done to 50% or buy a new magnum protection and make it 50% what so you think

I was considering about railgun protection too but when I started to think about it, is it worth? There are many augments for rail that can one shot you and critical dammage and hit % is really high on rail and protection wont help you against those. Large caliber rounds, round destabilization, hyperspace rounds, hyperspeed shells those are augments that with combination of crisis or booster can just delete you even with protection I would say its very unpleasant play against railgun on cerain maps but I would rather focus my limited resources on other protections.

Most important is definitely magnum nowadays... and then hammer and thunder are turrets you often see. and last one probably shaft.

But its important to have at leat 30 % prot. SO maybe its wise to have more than 4 protections. Rico, Gauss, Tesla, Scorpio damn even striker and vulcan nowadays...

Back up option when many players have protection against you? Pulsars

If you play lot of matchmaking then protections are game changer so I would suggest to upgrade protections mostly

The only thing i disagree with (and its not that major) is that you should upgrade a drone before going for a high lvled turret. instead of the other way around.
