This card currently sells for 839 euros, which is 200 euros over MSRP. Crazy.

It also seems to be going unmentioned in a lot of review circles that the Gigabyte Gaming OC series tends to offer an additional year of support if you register it within 30 days of purchase pushing the standard warranty out to 4 years. I have never RMA'd a Gigabyte card so I am not sure if that is just a wink and nod style of warranty or if it is an actual stand by our products type warranty but something else to consider when weighing in the extra $70 US or whatever the foreign equivalent is.

I expected these to fly off of shelves since ppl seemed to ejaculate over the 599 msrp. They’re still in stock everywhere so I have faith that ppl aren’t buying it as much as I originally thought

Is this card voltage limited? Someone needs to modify a vBIOS like the More Power tool. The overclocking potential doesn’t make sense.

So dumb question. I am picking up the “Gigabyte 4070 Windforce OC” this week from Best Buy. I currently have an MSI 3050. I believe the 3050 uses an 8 pin power cord. This 4070 uses an 8 pin power cord. So I should just be able to plug it into Mobo and use same 8 pin thats currently installed? Am I over thinking this? Or do I need to swap out to a new cable…. Sorry. Been a long time since I messed with PC’s. Just getting back into it. The last GPU i installed was a VOODOO.. which are not even around anymore lol

Here in Australia 🇦🇺…. We have no RRP / MSRP models only ‘o/c’ models at roughly $650-700USD pricing, (plus top tier models such as Strix, Aorus Master, Trio etc are at much higher prices). We also DO NOT get FE models at all 🤦🤦‍♀😵. Tbh, these gpus are soooo ridiculously overpriced I think Nvidia is simply using this generation gpus as a tax write off 🥱😴.  

This lineup of gpu, bring the RTX 4070 should be a $499USD max!!! GPU and for top of the line models by AIBs, have 16gb vram, and due to the tiny GPU die size! Companies selling these gpus are I’m sure, for at least around 1.5 - 2x their total manufacturer costs and could easily drop RRP 25% and not even worry about it!

I have the same card and I was able to get 165 core clock and 850 Memory it seams stable when running benchmarks.

Picked up this gpu a while ago was honestly schocked at the low temps even at 100% it was sitting aroung 55c to 60c.
