Phillip is being raised as a respectful young man, it shows, tought, respect, manners and great work ethics. A well done to the parents and whole family. To do it right it you all have to help. God bless. I have 7 kids and we all have helped. I would like to think my wife and I have learned a little.

My dad owned an excavating company and I grew up on machines.its one of the best experiences a young man can have.

Fantastic teaching, Man. That young man will remember these interactions and how you took the time to talk to him for the rest of his days.

The first time you get a large piece of machinery stuck is an experience you will never forget. I've had the grain cart stuck 3 times I believe, none of which were very much fun. Oh well, as I always say, "It'll grow back."

He's doing a great job. Don't know the limits of the machine until you find them for yourself. Lol Good to see a kid that age working and learning. Plus I'm sure making a bit of money. Good for him.

Man I bet Phillip is having the time of his life. At his age I spent alot of time on a hunting lease so naturally all I ever seen was logging equipment and I never wanted nothing more than to operate a skidder. So i could imagine the excitement he gets from that at his age.

Kudos for having the next generation started early, as well as teaching without preaching. My dad did the same for me on the farm as a youngster. I'll be forever indebted for his patience and foresight. I'm trying to do the same for my kids, and I didn't understand what dad had done for me until I tried to do the same for my kids.

Yea Phillip. I’m 54 now. I been stuck a time or 2, or 3, myself. I can remember when I was about your age pulling logs with a 30-20 farm tractor with a boom. I got stuck, Pop walked to me and said, ”You think I haven’t ever been stuck son” with a smile on his face. Just remember who you are and where you come from. It’s all good! AC

Bless him, it happens to us all at one time or other, Kevin should be very proud how that young man is shaping up. Just a little concerned when he called you sir, I know it's a sign of respect but you are CT3, mischief maker with the Hollis Farm dude!!
