I love how creative you can be in this game. Like some of the stuff you think should work irl, works as well in game. The game just lets you do it without a fuss like other games' "ooh you cant go here yet, you have to progress the main story first" bullshit. Meanwhile Dragon's Dogma is like "you want to go to the last area? Sure go ahead. Good luck tho."

I’m pretty sure I got an achievement for sneaking past the gate using the carriage. This game is something else. I’ve been hooked and playing for the last 2-3 days straight lmao. I love it.

i’m glad i went through the mountains cause i had the best fight ever, a griffin attacked me and when he wanted to fly away i jumped on him and made him fall and fought him alone, i did have to use 2 wakstones but it was worth it

I think this is the best way to do it honestly. No hassle of maneuvering through the mountains and fighting enemies that are over your punching level.

You can do this or take the lifts that take you through the air all the way to bakbattahl. Took me a couple trips to actually realize that it worked and would let me make a pawn crank the wheel to move it.

You can also pay 200 gold once your in prison to be let out and you don’t have to get in the oxcart just run through the gate when it opens and the guards will attack you

Or you can go through the dry river bed next to the checkpoint rest town it takes you also take you up the mountain and just make sure to do it at day because your lantern won't work

I found a NPC yesterday in the bar of the first Town...he tells you that you can get in the Ox cart without paying to get past the guards...

He even says he did it before and not to get caught by the guardson the door

Tbf you're either missing an epic griffin fight (aka free money) or you can take the one cave that runs along the coast and it'll put you out just north of the dragon gear guy.
The loot-strewn path to Battahl aka NG+ way is following the river at the bordertown and not fucking up the jump puzzle at the end.

You can do this to get access to bakbatahl and do the fruit farm for gold.

Or you could just take the side entrance that goes through the dragonforged area that takes all of 5minutes, but if you don't have the residence pass then all the guards are just going to attack you anyway

I did the thing last night with the sit on the bench wait run up the road a little bit saved exit to the title screen load back in and run out over the bridge yeah the cart was there that was pretty awesome 👌🤙 series x ☄️

U know if u dont wanna wait u can just take the river and follow it up past rest town. U will come across the phynixs second location as well. Ur gonna have to go there anyway, might as well unblack that part of the map. Plus theres some seekers tokens up there.

You can also wait at the gate until a merchant comes from bhattal they will open the gate and you can walk right in lol😊
