I've stopped eating sugar for about 1 year now. I AM down to 155 lbs from 204 lbs. The foods you can eat is limited to natural foods, the outer isles in the grocery store. If you read labels you will see that everything processed has sugar added. I've never felt better and I am now 68 yrs young. Thank you Dr Mandell for all the info you put out there. After being diagnosed a diabetic I stopped eating sugar all together. Lost some weight. 63 and feeling pretty good these days. Yhank you Lord 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😇

I think high fructose corn syrup is the worst ingredient ever concocted. It should be outlawed in the U.S. Just like other countries.

I am a 51 year old male with a huge sweet tooth. My poor memory has been a concern for many years, so much so that I feel like I have been showing signs of Dimentia for the last several years. I am a subscriber of this channel and when I watched this episode, I had an epiphany. I know now what I must do to try and get my memory and cognitive abilities restored. My parents didn't let us eat sweets until around Christmas when my mother made pies and bite-sized confections, all homemade. Even then the amounts we ate were rationed. I never had a cavity until I was eleven and I was buying chocolate bars with my allowance. Went off sugar until the drinking years and then the sugar was through beer and sweet cocktails. After that, no sugar again until my current roommate who lives on sugar, is fat, borderline diabetic, etc, had/has sugary cr*p everywhere. He has neuropathy so badly! So I am off sugar again, probably for life. Thank you for this. I don't believe people know how bad it is for your entire body and brain. Cheers! 😊

I swapped soft drinks with water. I have maintained this for months now. This is my first big step in cutting down on sugar.

Quit sugar and dairy 35 years ago 68 now, no colds, flu, doctor visits, 10 % body fat.This is whats possible
