In the alternate universe, Olivia and the Fringe Division investigate weird accidents with casualties apparently with no connection except ballpoint pens found on the spots. Imagine being so smart that you can control random events but you also leave behind the same object at every crime scene.

I like to imagine if they presented evidence to a jury and said, “yeah we saw a pen on the ground and I looked up and saw a guy standing suspiciously…….. I’ll pack up my desk.”

With his powers of prediction, for him there would be no spoilers ahead; he would just have to watch out and take care.

Bro is probably behind all the truck accidents in anime

1:08 "and people say math isn't dangerous"
4:15 "2+2= you get hit by a bus"
4:50 "I guess the paramedic needed to hit his quota with her suspicions, confirmed"
5:15 "Milo is the bus whisperer"
6:26 "iPads make them iMad"
8:02 "whenever he sees bullseye, he gets a woody"
8:35 "I don't know how that is gonna help but they know best"
9:21 "he didn't think she'd be that dumb"

oh my god, she really IS that dumb.

It's a fascinating episode, but it doesn't really hold up under scrutiny. Olivia knows this guy is the mastermind because he "looks suspicious"? He's guilty of premeditated murder because he... placed a couple of pens around the place?

Either Milo is the absolute worst at staying cool under police pressure and delivers a confirming confession to bolster the case or this case would get thrown out of court in a heartbeat. How is it more his fault for the murder than the artist's fault for picking up the pen, or the bus driver for speeding through a red light?

You're too funny... the ambulance meeting their quota, ipad makes them imad and whenever he sees the little horse he gets a woody. 😂😂😂😂 Great video and summary ❤ Thank you 😊😊😊

To all who have not watched the series and asked about the "thin air zone": This episode, like some others, took place in an alternate reality. Here the opening of a gateway between our and this world (what is become clear during the series) destroyed parts of the earth, led to many dimensional anomalies like the "thin air areas" and other, dangerous places. Also the people there are (of course) hostile to any visitors from our reality. Olivia is not remembering to originate from our universe - but also didn't know about the dangers of the anomalies.

Oh man, this was when Lance Reddick was still alive. RIP, Lance.

This is definitely one of the best episodes of the alternate universe. I just loved the fact the show had such a deep lore

This idea came back season 5 where a character got a brain boost and started predicting people's actions and making small changes to get the outcome he needed. Ends up all Observors can do this too.

Finally, people are giving Fringe the recognition it deserves!

Fringe is 1 of my all-time favourites, so gave this a shot for your uniquely awesome take... And won't lie. This has some of your best smash-lines. The AMBULANCE HAVING TO HIT HIS QUOTA, has gotta be among the best. Tops man

There was also an episode of Alphas (2011, SyFy Channel ) where there was a guy with a similar ability. He did things like disable an armored car and escaping by dropping a quarter at the right moment.

I think the craziest part about this episode of Fringe is the writers imagination and ingenuity. Imagine dealing with a character that essentially has omnipotence and finding a solution to that. 👏👏

White tulip is my favourite episode of the series. You could make a recap for that one as well, although it requires a bit of context from the rest of the show...

Fringe was so good. The switch from season 4 to 5 caught me completely off guard but tied everything together so well
