Will there be fitment issues as far as being installed with aftermarket CAI systems such as PRL, Injen, K&N, etc?

What are the cons of running vent to atmosphere? Is it true it can cause premature wear on turbos ? I have 2018 civic si and was thinking of getting one but I get mixed reviews from people. Only things done to my car so far is full car back exhaust with front pipe, haven’t installed downpipe I’m waiting to get ktuner first to avoid check engine lights and issues.

Can you use the recirculation model as a vent to atmosphere if you want. Or is it stuck as that function method?
