Method Feeder Fishing In A Storm With Sweetcorn

I love my short afternoon sessions at the moment ! Great way to get your fix if you are short on time. I hope you enjoy this one, it was definitely worth getting absolutely drenched for. I apologise about the audio quality on this one, but really not much I can do about it in a hurricane 😂

Keeping with my promise of sticking to natural baits I set out to limbrick fishery near Chorley for some method feeder fishing with a few chunky carp in mind.

As usual a few tips and a bit of action with the new guru n-gauge pro feeder rod 💪🏻🎣

It was my mates Birthday last Thursday, and he wanted to go fishing. It absolutely lashed it down all day, I had 2 carp, 1 was just over 7lb, the other was a 20lb 8oz common!! Worth getting soaked!

Birthday boy blanked! 😂

What an absolute scream that was. Nice to see you using the guru rod, love mine. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to enjoy fishing in the rain. I was fishing in North Wales with my partner and the heavens opened up. He packed up and I carried on and caught 15 fish. he reckons I must have been crazy. he said why can't you be like most women and be out buying handbags or summat Anyway great work that filming and can't wait to see the rod race. Get herself some waterproof over trousers. Take care and stay dry hahahaha x

Great stuff Westy! I'm so pleased it's raining again up your way 😂. I was getting worried for you as the last couple of videos you put out didn't have any rain at all.

Agree about the net. I have a matrix carp and I hate it as I cant unhook in the net when sat and have to go to the mat everytime even when they are small fish. Thought you were going to do a mary poppins when that storm rolled through 😂

I perfect to fish in not so nice weather to. Your right lakes are so quiet, and you're more likely to get your favourite peg 🎉😅
