Poseidon Central is back!
It took more than four months but youtube dropped their investigation. They also gave me permission to continue my work and that I shall, this time with "Amerika". I know that in the "mother" video I promised "Benzin" but I have yet not found enough good material.

Sidenote! The song "Mein Land" which also is requested is more troublesome. Rammstein has not to date performed it live, atleast there is no video recorded of it and therefore "Mein land" is not possible at this time. This due to that I exclusively use liverecordnings for my videos.

“Amerika” was the second single released from Reise, Reise. It deals with the worldwide dominance of the culture of the United States. It is sung largely in German with a chorus partly in English: We’re all living in Amerika, Amerika ist wunderbar, We’re all living in Amerika, Amerika. It has received mixed reviews: some perceive it as anti-American, others as being opposed to globalization. The band views it as a satirical commentary on Cocacolonization.
The video shows the band in Apollo-era space suits on the Moon with shots of other cultures acting like Americans. The end of the video shows that the band have actually been in a fake Moon set in a studio, complete with film crew, a reference to the Apollo moon landing hoax accusations. Till Lindemann, Rammstein’s lead singer, wears a space suit with the name “Armstrong” on it – a reference to Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon.

It's more a literal translation, what is bad because german has different idioms then english.
"Music is coming out of the white house" is an german idiom "Here is were the music plays" and that means something like here is where it's at/the action is!
So the White House (wants)is telling the whole world what to do....

Being American myself, I realized it's not often we hear about what our brothers & sisters over seas think, especially about our involvement and influence, and anything negative about America's actions overseas (it's there if we look hard enough, but it's not pushed to headlines or anything). I especially don't want to kill their cultures. If they don't want any of it, they shouldn't be forced. That's sad, and I'm truly sorry.

I went to Berlin in 1994, I met a taxi driver who lived in Berlin during the Soviet blockades and the Berlin Airlift. He told me that Christmas the only presents he got was from an American family of a boy he had befriended. The American boy's father worked at the American consulate in Berlin at the time and they wanted to help the German boy out, most people have no idea the poverty and despair Germany went through after WWII. That German guy told he was thankful the Americans did not forsake his people in their darkest hour. He said the Americans treated Germans entirely different that the Soviets. I love German people, and I am glad my people treated them with dignity in defeat and with charity in need. Germany and America will have to work together to defeat the evil empire of our age, who unleashed a plague on our world.
