Forgot to mention that when going straight toes should be straight forward not duck footed. And then the twisting of the foot when starting to break into a corner to get yourself set up for whatever apex your mentally imagining to make your turn

I noticed when I put the ball of my foot on the foot rest in motorcycle boots it makes it harder to reach the gear shift if I don’t life my foot up and move it closer. (I have spiked foot rests for grip that also go up when pushed from below) any thoughts on foot position.
