In theory, this makes a lot of sense. I'm gonna give it a shot and see how I like it! Thanks Chase 👍🏻

Was telling myself this just yesterday. I have to come way too forward to get a good pedal push.

Not sure that would apply to those of us riding more enduro than MX. I think if my pedal was higher I would be riding the brakes all the time ?

How does a "few millimeters" make a difference? Id get it if you were raising it 20mm+, even say 15mm but what do you mean by "a few". To me that ii like 3mm...pointless. Other things at play are foot length and boot type, arch depth, sole thickness etc which are far greater variables to deal with than a few millimeters will solve. And of course raising it too much can r=create issues with covering the brake without applying pressure to it too. I'd suggest people start stock and get experience with it that way before messing around with it. if you can't ascertain you need to make decent adjustment you are kidding yourself so just leave it stock and get used to it.

Problem with the brake pedal up high like that is when you are sitting down and using the brake; you have to put your foot in an awkward position and you end up riding the brake too much and skidding with your foot at a normal position. I think it's to each their own, I put my pedal super far down...

You know whats cool? I ride dirt bikes aswell but when i got introduced into running long distance like ultras, i was taught to run with the balls of my feet to avoid injury and have good posture, only injury prone runners land on their heels, the heels were meant for standing,
it translates well into moto because EVERYONEsays ride the pegs with the balls of your feet.
Run down the block without shoes and notice how your body automatically transitions to running with out heel striking, ,thats the natural form 🦵🦵💪💪✌🏼
