Super helpful. Mine, a PB580T would run but then bog down after 20 min. I grabbed a rebuild kit from Home Depot, installed it all (used the tent stake idea since I am a camper) and it now runs like a charm. THANK YOU SO

Good job! I especially liked that you showed us the problem before you started the troubleshooting part. My Echo PB-250/LN has a similar problem in that it starts easily, idles well, and then shuts off as I advance the throttle. After watching this video and one other, I now have the following candidates that cause the trouble: air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, clogged exhaust port, carburetor adjustment. I will fix each one in the order listed and let you know in another comment about my progress.

Worked on pb-620. Dropped air filter and spark in first. Continued to bog down. Gas filter fixed it. I had zero service done on this thing since 2008. This did the trick. Thx! HD had the kit.

Thanks. Followed recommended procedures and it worked. Save $184 not having to buy a new blower.

you are incorrect about carb adjustment at end of your video. Certain gas and oil mixes will make this blower ( and other 2 stroke engines ) run different and the factory sets it to what they use. I bought mine new and out of box ran rough after warm up at full throttle. So first thing to do is adjust carb for idle speed and full throttle ( 2 different screws ) with the fuel and oil you will be using and do it after warming it up. This blower needs to run for a minute or two to run great i also repair small engines and i tell customers to NOT run them dry and store it as that causes carb issues. ALWAYS leave the tank full when storing as gas does not go bad for at least 2 years. Also for owners, You MUST RUN AT FULL SPEED when using as it is a 2 stroke and if not running full speed when using it will cause exhaust to clog with unburned oil and this goes for all 2 strokes including weed wackers, snow blowers etc as the biggest issues i ALWAYS see are clogged exhaust from home owners only going half throttle when using these small engines...

Bought one of these today on Market place for $40. It was a little boggy at WOT. I pulled the plastic grub plug and adjusted the carb. it runs like new now!

Folks there's 2 adjusting screws.there set by the factory..ones for low idle other is for hight idle.i think the one to the right is high idle.start it up.let it warm up and pull the trigger an turn the high idle screw til it peaks an stop bogging done
