Russia-Ukraine war: Lawmaker suggests 3,000 North Korean soldiers in Moscow “so far”

Following speculation that North Korean soldiers are being moved into Moscow for combat training and to eventually aid Russia’s fight against Ukraine, federal representatives from across the globe have confirmed there is “evidence” to back the rumours.
“It is now highly likely that the transfer of hundreds of combat troops from North Korea to Russia has begun,” British Defence Minister John Healey said of “the concerning new development” on Wednesday. “There is evidence that there are DPRK troops in Russia,” U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said in Rome.
In South Korea, a member of the National Assembly said the total amount of shipped soldiers, “so far, is about 3,000.” This comes after South Korea's spy agency reported 1,500 DPRK troops had been shipped earlier in the week.
The revelation comes days after Ukrainian President Voloydmyr Zelenskyy accused Pyongyang of preparing to send 10,000 soldiers to Russia — more than two years into the Russia-Ukraine war. Russian and North Korean officials have denied these claims.
