DEFENDER Experience beats GRENADIER at Abenteuer Allrad 2024 / S5-EP23

We drove with our Queen L405 to the 2024 Abenteuer & Allrad fair in Bad Kissingen / Germany and the highlight was the Defender Experience presented by Land Rover. A well-made test drive including a free video clip at the end. We saw a lot of modified Grenadiers, Broncos and Toyotas. We also show our progress on our SDV6 Gen2 rebuild in this video.

Haha! I was an instructor at a Land Rover Experience centre, we had the seesaw then, I could usually manage to balance it in a Discovery 2 (Brand new at the time). We had an original 1st generation Camel Trophy Discovery which I often took home as my "Company" car and we launched the P38 there too. We also had, very early on and kept hidden, a Range Rover L322 with a big Kill button on the dash as it had issues sometimes. We did actually take it to a local grocery once, very very naughty! I loved it.

Always a good idea to purge with OFN when Tig welding so as to stop oxidisation inside the tubing.
BTW I am a retired Aircon engineer not a desk top mechanic.

I have to send you a picture of my discovery 4 2013 which I fabricated the body front and rear removed upper and lower tailgate and fitted defender door an hand made front wings an bonnet the car now looks just like a new defender 130 took me a year to do but all by myself body an paint 😮 just because I could do this type of work and haven't got 100k to by one I'm over in UK and always look forward to you evey Sunday keep up the good work 😅
