Is our current President (OCP) going to keep his health care promise or not? Anything less than better coverage for more people with more choices and less cost really isn’t keeping his promise. Just repealing and replacing isn’t a fix. It has to be replaced with something better. Don’t be in a rush, get it right.

ABC- YOu need to be more responsible in your reporting. Every single time you do a report on the healthcare in the US, you need to talk about how it works in the rest of the world.

We have evidence to demonstrate the efficacy of some type of system of universal coverage. Every single other developed country in the world has some type of universal healthcare coverage.

Up until last year, the US had never had less than 10% of the population uninsured. Due to the ACA, the US is now beneath 10% uninsured.

However, the US spends far far more than EVERY OTHER DEVELOPED COUNTRY on healthcare.

We (The US) spend 15.3% GDP on our healthcare.

Germany- multipayer- 10% GDP

UK- NHS Govt employed healthcare professionals- 8.3% GDP

Switzerland- Individual insurance mandate in a highly regulated market - 11% GDP

Taiwan created a brand new healthcare system from scratch. When they did it, they investigated all of the various systems in the world.

They chose to NOT have the system the US has, because they couldn't identify a coherent system.

Taiwan now spends 6% GDP on healthcare.

You would think that the US comes out better, because of all that money.
