Costco has the best return policy and extended warranty. Also, if you buy your TV online and it's delivered, they'll pick it up for free if you want to return it. Super helpful especially if it's a large TV.

Super valid point about them being palletized. I’m a 25 year Costco employee, I knew the other benefits, but never realized them not being a single unit being bounced around a box truck being such a huge benefit. Definite one for the plus column. 👍🏻

funny, but those “cheap” big screen Costco tvs always look amazing to me… I have no idea why I keep my Costco membership, it was the for the Hot Dogs 😂, but they messed that up since Covid and my local Costco has a weird parking lot that is very hard to navigate around and rarely has an open space.

For me it’s hard to beat the bestbuy no interest deals for big purchases.
Haven’t really had any issues with BB returns either

I bought a C2 77” from Costco in November.
Picked Costco over Best Buy for the relative ease of return and the extended warranty.
Thought about getting it from Amazon (5% discount with the Amazon card) but if a return was necessary I just didn’t want to hassle with it.
Costco (like many other chain stores) stocks the stores differently depending on location/neighborhood where the store is located.

The PS5 connected to a Sony OLED Bravia TV 65 or above is just blowing my mind alway especially with 4K Ultra HD movies wish everyone can just experience one on display at Costco it would change people’s perceptive on the other TVs just saying

Hi Brian, thanks for the good work and Happy New Year! I agree with the need to visit and support local brick and mortar stores be they mom & pop shops or even box stores like Costco and Best Buy. While I don't have a vehicle large enough to pick up a big screen television from any of these businesses and would depend on delivery I absolutely hate the idea of having to do all my shopping for this type of item online. I want to see and touch what I'm interested in and compare them for myself if possible. I certainly depend on reviewers like you to narrow my options but I still want to check out the merchandise myself.
Buying online just isn't the same and feels like it's more of a crap shoot. I just hope that doesn't end up being our only option someday. Again thanks for the great content.

Costco does track the number of returns on TVs. There system will flag you if you've retired a certain amount within a certain window of time. In fact Amazon will email you a warning after a while.
The membership fee pays for itself after 8 months if you buy gas from them every time.

Thanks for the video. I do have a membership there. Waiting for an 8 year old Samsung to die that has a ton of hours on it.

Costco is fantastic. C2 Oled and Sony A80K are enough premium of TV’s for vast majority. You can also get S95B.

With a 75inch X95K, 77inch C2 and 77inch A80j, I'm hoping by the time I get one from Costco it'll be an Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector.

Their TV space is great and that mix of size and models give you an idea about size difference and to appreciate the technologies difference too, for an average consumer is a must.

We love Costco, but they just delivered a cracked 75" (an hour ago). The two dudes took a picture of the cracked screen and VANISHED. Then the email parade started. Now we wait another week until we get to see if the next one is broken.

Great video, Brian. Not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but yes, if purchasing on-line, you can return the panel if needed to any physical Costco location.

Hi Brian, there are some yahoos online that insist that the TV's that Costco sells use OEM panels and what not and are different than the ones that you would buy from Best Buy. On Reddit someone is claiming the Sony A80CK is not the same TV as the A80K, that you get a nicer remote with the Costco version but the processing is inferior than the A80K. They're blowing smoke, right?
