I'm a Python programmer, and it is my sword, but maybe Lua will become my dagger.

I think Lua is better suited for small tasks, especially repetitive ones, due to its speed and ability to integrate with the C API and also Python same. We could find a way to run Lua code for repetitive tasks within Python code.
